Environmental Responsibility-Green Production

In promoting the coordinated development of the environment, economy and society, and the harmonious coexistence of man and nature, Mingrui has begun new explorations and attempts in the “circular economy” development model to achieve sustainable development:

1. Raw material reduction: Guided by the concept of "green development", by improving production technology and improving production equipment, we can reduce the consumption of production materials and achieve the purpose of saving resources and energy.

2. Harm-free raw materials: By continuing to promote the green substitution and reduction of toxic and hazardous raw materials, we will minimize the use of toxic and hazardous substances and minimize their impact on the environment.

3. Clean production: focus on source control, minimize the use of toxic and harmful substances, and minimize their impact on the environment. Use advanced and applicable clean production technology to reduce the amount of pollutants produced.

4. Low-carbon office: Use paperless office as much as possible; make full use of natural light and eliminate "constant lights"; do not turn on air conditioning/heating unless necessary, and control the temperature above 26 degrees in summer and below 18 degrees in winter; use water for production to Recycling and use of domestic water eliminates "long running water", thereby reducing the overall energy consumption of the factory.

5. Waste recycling: Collect and recycle waste materials such as paper, metal, and plastic generated in the production and office processes to reduce the pressure on the ecological environment.

6. Hazardous waste detoxification: All waste gases generated during the production process are processed centrally and discharged to meet standards; hazardous wastes are collected centrally and handed over to qualified third-party environmental protection companies for unified processing.

7. With the continuous advancement of global sustainable development and low-carbon economy, the rational use of renewable resources has attracted the attention of more and more brand buyers and consumers. Mingrui's R&D team actively explored and successfully developed an "anti-puncture midsole" and "composite toe cap" made of recycled materials. After obtaining GRS certification, it has now been officially launched into the market.

Environmental Responsibility-Clean Energy

At present, fossil fuels are the main energy source for human production and life. As global energy use grows, non-renewable energy sources such as fossil fuels will become increasingly depleted. Changing the energy structure and improving energy efficiency are important means to maintain sustainable development. As a responsible enterprise, Mingrui actively responds to the national call:

Adjusting the proportion of energy structure, in addition to replacing part of coal power with natural gas, Mingrui also invested in and used clean energy - two megawatts of photovoltaic energy. Currently, photovoltaic energy accounts for 65% of Mingrui’s total energy consumption;

Optimizing the power supply system, by improving production technology and improving production equipment, can improve energy utilization efficiency, so that each unit of energy consumed can drive an increase in total production value;

By optimizing processes and rationally arranging factory areas, while improving land use efficiency, it can also reduce the energy demand of the entire factory and maximize the input-output ratio;

The application of energy storage technology can convert unstable renewable energy into reliable and stable energy supply. Using "valley power" to charge the energy storage system and using the stored electric energy during peak periods can not only reduce the burden on the power grid, but also reduce energy consumption costs.

Carbon emissions and carbon neutrality

The combustion of carbon fuels used in industrial production produces large amounts of greenhouse gases, changing the chemical composition of the atmosphere and affecting the climate. Paying attention to the impact of production activities on climate is related to the sustainable development of the global economy and the well-being of mankind. In "green production", Mingrui has taken various measures to reduce "carbon emissions" in its own production and business activities. "Clean energy" is also part of Mingrui's practice of "carbon neutrality".

In planning for the future, Mingrui has formulated a "oil-to-electricity" energy plan to gradually replace gasoline-powered machines, equipment and production auxiliary tools with those using green energy.

Site selection plans in Zhejiang and Anhui provinces have been planned to absorb (offset) carbon emissions generated by production activities through afforestation;
